"We loved our stay at this beautiful house. The location is excellent, making it very easy to drive to either side of Crete. Our host was fantastic and very friendly, helpful, and highly responsive. She also gave us great recommendations for places to visit around the island. The house itself is lovely and equipped with basic supplies for cooking in the evening, which was mostly suitable for our needs. We would definitely stay here again!"

"A beautiful setting to explore the enchanted village of Archanes. Be prepared for lots of friendly cats, you may wish to bring some treats with you, or pick some up at the local market. Hosts recommendations for dining and exploring were very good."

"The villas was very clean, spacious and modern. We were there March 12-16 so very early in the season. The pools were closed which I didn’t know until getting there as it was shown when I booked that heated pools were all year round. There was apparently a sandstorm from Africa for a week prior to us coming which then closed the pools. The host offered us an extra night free however we already had our flights back to Athens booked so couldn’t take advantage of that. Michaelis offered a dinner...

"Nous avons eu de la difficulté à faire notre enregistrement de façon autonome. Nous avions un code pour entrer dans notre chambre mais il n'y avait pas d'indication où elle se situait. Nous avons communiqué avec l'établissement par courriel mais sans reponse alors nous avons appelé et la personne a été tres gentille et nous a aidé a trouver notre chambre. Sinon, le déjeuner est tres bon et avec plusieurs choix de plats. Un stationnement gratuit est à proximité ce qui est très apprécié....

"Vraiment un très belle appartement, c'était spacieux, il y avait deux terrasses, la vaisselles étaient propre. Il y a un parking privé de l'hôtel à 30m. Seul inconvénient la réception était fermée à notre arrivée, on a dû attendre 30min. Aucun numéro ne fonctionnait. Si vous passez par Expedia, pensez à contacter l'hébergement, ils vous donneront des informations. Expedia ne donne pas votre numéro de téléphone."

"Stayed one night prior to a ferry trip. Very close to the port. Well-constructed property and well-furnished room. Decent value for money. Slight cons: road noise (on a busy road, but does settle down later in the evening). Front desk not staffed and entrance requires a code - had to call number listed on door - might be an issue for travelers without phone service. Limited self-parking. Despite these issues, would stay again for an early morning ferry departure from the port."

"Very nice 5 star historical building. Fully updated with the latest amenities. Staff was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Rooms were very spacious with all the amenities you could need. "Clean space overall Hot tub had a strange smell to it so unfortunately didn’t use it Front desk was closed upon arrival and departure due to late night/early morning arrivals and departures so we was asked to leave 2 euros for nightly “environmental fee”, we left the 2 euros as asked and was still charged on our invoice for the fee. I know 2 euros isn’t much but taking the cash and still charging us is not right in our opinion Great centralized location to restaurants and shops"

"Loved everything about this property, including the banana tree which we ate fresh bananas from. My only issues were the extremely small shower and no ac in the bedroom. Once in the shower, it is difficult to move. You are unable to bend over, there's limited space for turning around, or lifting your legs. We eventually figured out a system but it was messy. The host communicated well before the check-in date with logistics- it seemed automatic, not a person, but did not provide details to help find the unit once we arrived. "Zimmer war sauber und okay. Die Toilette stinkt leider nach Abfluss. Es ist leider einfach zu laut durch die Flugzeuge. Davon ist die ganze Umgebung betroffen. Das wissen die natürlich auch, aber tun nichts dagegen. Keine dichten Fenster, keine gedämmten Wände. Der Lärm geht komplett durch und man wird hier ständig durch den Lärm der fliegenden Flugzeuge gestört. Ich würde nächstes Mal lieber in irgendeiner Vorstadt von Heraklion bleiben."
