We expected a much higher standard of housekeeping from a resort of this calibre, especially when it was included in the package we paid for. "Place, it's great if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing time, and if you are ok with booking activities offered by the resort on the island. Otherwise, you will have to pay for transportation every time a boat is needed, and you will have to coordinate with other boats and jump from one to the other in the water, which could be fun, scary, or impossible for others. "The property is an hour drive from the Nadi airport. The property is excellent and everyone is very friendly. The beach is beautiful especially when you experience the sandbar. The only downside is the limited restaurants in the property. I suggest looking into expanding the dining options considering it’s hard to commute to town just to have Dinner in Port Denerau. "Last year, I booked to go back before I left the Island. This place is truly wonderful. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious, the pool is beautiful, the beach is lovely. Snorkelling was great off the beach, the Hobie cat boats were fun, kayaking great. The snorkel to Taverua is a must to see the Turtles. The rooms are a great size and well kept. Linen is nice and fresh white. The couples massage was ahhh-mazing. This was our second visit and I can’t fault it."
