"Pools were lovely and staff were excellent. One small hiccup but easily resolved, used room towels taken away but not replaced, daily phone call to housekeeping soon had clean towels delivered."

"Beautiful island and largely lovely staff. Rooms are dated. Fitness centre isn’t really a gym it’s a bunch of dumbbells. Main issue we had though is that there were cats roaming the main restaurant one evening, complained to staff to see if they could shoo them off and they just laughed at us. A few minutes later one jumped on our toddler and ruined our meal and left her very scared of the restaurant for rest of the trip."

"Large pool with shade if required. The grounds are wonderfully tropical and well curated. Bures are private, roomy and the air conditioning works a treat. The large, fluffy bath towels are changed daily. All of the staff are terrific and the restaurant is well worth trying."

"I booked this resort for myself and my two daughters and it was so beautiful. The beach waters are literally crystal clear turquoise water. The snorkeling was beautiful. The coral was so bright. The staff was 10 out of 10 so pleasant so kind willing to go above and beyond to make your stay happy. Special shout out to the all the bartenders especially Fresh and Ami. Una and Bill were very very helpful with everything. I will most definitely return. "

"Nice location with good snorkeling all around the island. Beautiful area. Lovely staff. The rooms were a bit dated but the bed was comfortable and it was nice to have air conditioning. The food was ok. The vegetarian options were quite good. I loved having a little beach right outside my bura. All in all a nice stay. Vanaka! "

"The best part about First Landing is the staff. So friendly, helpful and amazing with kids. We stayed in a 1Bedroom villa which was beautiful. Had everything you needed and its own private pool. The main pool is also very good, large and with lots of loungers/umbrellas around it. There was an activity board each day with lots of different things to do and excursions could be booked through the onsite tour desk. Tuesday night show was great fun too. But again, the people really are the best!"

"We enjoyed this property four four days. We booked it wanting to have a different experience than the "chain resort" accomodations we enjoyed in December as a stopover on our vacation in New Zealand. We stayed in a beachfront bura which was clean and basic. We enjoyed sitting on the porch during rains. The breakfast at the resort was basic but enough. Dinners were good. We had pizza next door from the main dining on night and it was very good. Interesting cliental and we met an assortment...

"Staff were the most attentive and friendliest group of people I’ve ever had the pleasure to be served by in a resort setting. Spa therapists were excellent and accommodating to my physical limitations. Brought the massages to our room rather than me having to walk to the spa. Grounds were meticulously groomed daily. Food was excellent in presentation, quality, and variety. This resort paid more attention to small details than any place we’ve stayed before."

"Our family of 4 (kids aged 6 and 4) stayed at this resort for 2 weeks and we had the best vacation! Here are our big takeaways. 1. Check in is at 3pm- pack your swim suits close to kill time at the pool. Public bathrooms have big showers too. Check out is at 11am, book your boat back to mainland accordingly (it's also a 1.5 hour trip back on the boat, it stops at other islands). 2. Bring water bottles, you'll be filling them up regularly at the beach restaurant. 3. Bug spray is available...
