"Nowhere on their website did they mention the lake had no water. They were also doing repairs so the walls had exposed wires. The bathrooms are reminiscent of a hospital bathroom. The rooms are poorly lit with no tv. Lots of history in the buildings just very dated rooms. The breakfast was really great."

"Staff was excellent. We really enjoyed the boat tour of the lake. Rooms were large and comfortable. A great night's sleep. We really enjoyed sitting on the screen porch and watching the boats come and go. The decor is a bit dated. I believe they said the lakeside rooms were due to be updated in the next year. Restaurant was just so-so. We'd recc. going out to Grand Olde Station for a meal. Overall, a great stay. We plan to go back in the future."

"If you want to have a lakeview, call Capital Properties. The lakeview cabins are all Time Shares. However, all pictures of the property on VRBO or on Expedia and even on the actual website all lead one to believe you are getting a lakeview condo. It did not indicate to call them before booking to inquire about a lakefront condo . The write-up did not how views of the specific condo, showing the outside in the woods. .
