We had a pleasant stay and found the hotel a convenient base for exploring Greenock and the surrounding area. The location was useful, and we enjoyed spending time together during our visit. We were happy with our stay and would consider staying at The Harbour Hotel again when visiting the area."

Otherwise this hotel was very good, with nice rooms, an OK restaurant, a good bar/coffee shop, good breakfasts, and ample free parking. The staff were excellent - friendly and very helpful."

"The Tontine is a delightful old-world hotel — complete with beautiful stained glass in the entry windows — that befits the heritage of its neighborhood. Staff were extremely helpful, accommodating my flight-caused schedule change, and room service was very quick and exactly the meal I ordered."

I'll never use Expedia again as I thought I had booked a suite but they actually booked us into the lodge, which is very nice but my wife has difficulty walking and the lodge was well away from the main hotel. Also. It separated us from the rest of the party."

Fortunately a friend could deal with it. Not so much upset with property but with Expedia for no advanced warning. Would definitely go back but would be prepared."
