A Perfect Stay at St. Leonard's Guest House
I had the pleasure of staying at St. Leonard's Guest House in Largs, Scotland while my daughter played lacrosse for England at the National Sports Centre. From the moment I arrived, Keith, the proprietor, made me feel truly at home with his warmth and hospitality.
Breakfast at St. Leonard's is a delightful experience—starting with fresh-cut fruit and yogurt, followed by a warm, buttery croissant, and finishing with a delicious, hearty British breakfast. Every morning felt like a treat!
Beyond the excellent meals, Keith was incredibly helpful in guiding me on my daily activities, leading me to an unforgettable hike to the highest point on the Isle of Cumbrae. His local knowledge added so much to my trip, ensuring I made the most of my time in Largs.
The guest house itself was immaculate, and my room matched the description perfectly—plus some wonderful extras like bathrobes and slippers. The sink, kettle, and refrigerator were thoughtful touches that made my stay even more comfortable. Its location on the edge of town meant that everything was within easy walking distance, and the convenience of a grocery store right across the street was a bonus.
I cannot say enough about how fabulous my stay at St. Leonard's Guest House was. I left feeling like family, thanks to Keith's exceptional hospitality. If you're visiting Largs, this is the place to stay!
