The staff were so accommodating and went way above to make us and our dog Blue so welcome from his welcome pack to the fuss made over him it made our visit truly special. The room (a small double) was beautiful and looked out onto the main room. Bed was comfy and had a great night's sleep. Only 2 issues, plug sockets are all very low to the carpet and I struggled to use them, as I have health issues. Other issue was the shower. I struggled to get hot shower, with all the buttons and yhen when I did get...

"This is a very good hotel , and the best value for money on the island. It is quite clearly an old hotel but very well looked after. The one down point for me would be the attention to detail with the cleaning of the rooms. The shower tray had hairs in it, the teaspoons and mugs were not clean. The carpet had quite a few "suspect" stains. Would definitely stay here again, but covered everything we needed to do on the island so probably wont be back for that reason. The breakfast was great."

"Spa was nice, room was exceptional in terms of the view, decor and comfort. receptionist very welcoming. Bar area no atmosphere at all. Only used for drinks can’t comment on the food. Staff nice enough. Breakfast was lovely and exactly as ordered. Unfortunately during our stay there was multiple fire alarms going off through night. This in itself was annoying as it disturbed our sleep and we only had one evening booked. Lack of sleep for our big day the following day was not what we had planned...

"We have stayed here before and it is a good practical option for us when we visit family. It is clean modern and nice and warm. We have stayed twice before in different rooms, both of which were bigger than the one we had this time. It would really have been more suitable for a single guest. That being said, we did manage ok for 2 nights. We did notice the noise from other guests a bit more this time than we did before. The location is ideal as there are shops, bars and decent restaurants...

"Carpet has never been cleaned. Shower drainage blocked. The door key snapped when I tried to unlock. They wanted me to pay £90 for the key. The room smelled bad. It’s a guest house for people with no standards "
