"Shambaling is a little oasis in Katmandu. It's intimate setting fosters a gentle stillness and staff could not be more accommodating. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the newly opened spa offers wonderful treatments for weary, sore trekking muscles. I will tell all my travelling friends about this "must stay at "- gem. "

"I loved everything about to but had been under the impression that a washer/dryer was available but it wasn’t. You would have to pay a fee per item to be washed and the fee was way too high- 90rupees for per shirt, etc.
that was very disappointing. Other than that I enjoyed staying there."
