"The room was just a mountain side standard room (nothing special) but I knew this going in. But it was always cleaned very, very well by the friendly house keeping staff! The entire hotel staff was very friendly, let us use a refrigerator in our room and was responsive to questions and needs that we had. Our trip had to be unexpectedly extended due to the cartel attacks in the city and the hotel staff was very gracious and even offered a discount for the additional days. I was most appreciative...

"The hotel, while not splashy, was absolutely immaculate and the staff incredible. During the lockdown, they fit us three meals a day, they went above and beyond. It’s located on a quiet street but close to everything."

"Our housekeeper, Yanet, was great. We loved our room, the food at the restaurant was really good, the views were impeccable. Our only problem was that guests reserved all the pool lounge chairs early in the morning. In the 11 days we stayed, we never could get a space by the pool until the evening."

"Stayed originslly prior to cartel violence. We were supposed to drive back to Puerto Vallarta that day. Hotel staff alerted us to danger and we decided to stay. Hotel staff were fantastic although overwhelmed by added guests. particularly in restaurant which quickly by guests who could no longet go out safely.
Particular shoutout to oler gentleman waiter who worked tirelessly for what seemed like days, since no relief could get to to hotel with transportation shut down.
