Lo único malo fue que según el check-in es a las 3:00 pm y a mi me dieron la habitación hasta las 5:00 pm y cuando iba a preguntar a recepción había una chava que me hacía mala cara, se supone que que deben de tener la habitación lista.

Nos encontrábamos en la habitación 303. A las 01:30 de la noche, cuando ya estábamos dormidos, abrieron la puerta de la habitación e intentaron entrar. Era un empleado del hotel abriéndole nuestra habitación a otro huésped. Nuestra reacción inmediata fue repeler la invasión que no fue más allá de unos pasos dentro. La chapa estaba cerrada con seguro y este cedió a la tarjeta del empleado. Entonces reflexionamos que la puerta no tiene ninguna otra medida de seguridad como en otros hoteles. En estas circunstancias estamos totalmente vulnerables, el hotel no puede garantizar nuestra seguridad ni privacidad. Ni el empleado ni la otra persona dieron explicación o siquiera se disculparon. Marcamos a recepción para reportar el acto y ver que pasaba. La persona de recepción fuera de explicar o disculparse me empiezo a cuestionar por qué estábamos en esa habitación. Obviamente estamos en la habitación que 10 horas antes nos habían asignado y por la cual firmé al hacer check in. Tampoco nos aclararon qué pasaba ni qué pensar en reiterar nuestra seguridad y mucho menos una disculpa. Me he hospedado en Hotel Velvet Plaza unas 12 veces en los últimos dos años y nunca habíamos tenido ningún incidente desagradable. Creo que lo volveré a pensar para recomendarlo de nuevo.

The parking lot isn't big enough for all the rooms; I had to leave my car keys at reception because my car was blocking other cars from leaving due to the insufficient space. This makes me suspicious. Also, when you arrive at the hotel, they don't take down all the details of your car, but they do want you to leave the keys overnight so they can move it if they're overbooked.
