"Staff great, food was great, location was easy enough to navigate, but I wasnt expecting a taxi into the city 10 minutes away would cost $30. I loved the amenities, I really just wish they were open longer especially the spa. The check in and check out process was quick and easy. This is my first time in Iceland so I don't have a comparison. I would appreciate more items in the snack area such as souvenirs, a better selection of alcohol, and a microwave. Yes I wish the rooms had a microwave."

"My father and I just had a recent stay at Hotel Borg for three nights. We were very upset with the service from the housekeeping staffs looking after our room. When we first arrived to our room, we found out that our welcome fruit basket was empty. That was not what we expected to see at a (5-star?) luxury hotel (as stated on the hotel’s own website). We called and asked about that and the staff came to our room with some fruits in the plastic bags and handed that to us. On the next day after...

"Nice clean facility but minimum cheap furniture. No desk or drawers to keep things and bathroom sink did not have any counter space to put even tooth brush or tooth paste. Some counter space in bathroom would have made daily routine little easier. Bathroom glass door was not a good idea and shower needed some glass wall to prevent splashes and that would have made maintenance staff work easier too."

"I only have one recommendation for the hotel. In the lobby, change the ringtone at reception. It is the default tone that immediately breaks the vacation mentality and brings one back to the normal grind of every day life"

"Unfortunately the sauna was broken for my one night stay. No one refilled the water in the spa area for hours, which was disappointing. Aside from these issues, we enjoyed our stay. Very intimate location behind a church and small. Neighborhood. Quiet."
