"5 star hotel for Reykjavik. I had a beet salad that was excellent but the breakfast buffet, hmm. Pretty much cereal, muffins and other like food. No eggs, bacon ,sausage or other things normally at a buffet. The hallways are a bit dark, there are no coffee cups with handles so I could not hold the cup. The rooms are very nice. It is a beautiful hotel in a nice location and the staff was excellent. These are the reasons I gave it 5 stars."

"2 night stay. Quiet, comfortable, and private. We stayed in the garage apartment which is seperate from the house. 10 minute walk to downtown restaurants, shops, and nightlife. I would highly recommend."

"Large place that you could easily chill in. Well stocked kitchen. The only downside was the bathroom. It is poorly designed- water streams out of the shower making the floor wet. The drains smell due to the sulfur. Worse still, as no windows and the exhaust fan is tiny, the bathroom smells from normal use. shampoo, body wash and conditioner is provided. There is nowhere in the shower to store your things e.g facewash.
There is free public parking available nearby but not necessarily at the...

"The rooms are clean and comfortable. The sinks vary a lot room by room, with some that are perfect and others that barely trickle any water at all. The upstairs shower is much better than the downstairs one. Breakfasts are great! And parking is always available in their lot or nearby."

"The room was extremely small, barely room to move around, and no place to put more tha a very small suitcase. Didnt buy the breakfast. Others said it wasnt worth the price. The staff tho were very helpful and friendly."
