"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. "It was a good place to stay for a weekend. It is as advertised and worked well for a couple of days. My concern is security the front desk staff is young. I forgot my room number they told me I asked for another key they gave it to me.. all with out any form of ID. Finally I left my key in the room with my adult son and they scanned me up the elevator with out any ID. These were all different times of the day. Yes I was a bit scattered but it really bothered me that no one asked me for ID...
