"An absolutely wonderful holiday - such attentive - without being overbearing - staff, beautiful rooms (we had a duplex) and facilities. Perfect pools for our boys aged 8 & 12. Kids club child centred snd not like an over organised summer camp, all food very high quality. The spa was lovely. Honestly cannot think of any criticism."

"Difficult to praise this hotel too much. The staff are all so warm and friendly, the breakfast is remarkable, the amenities excellent and the whole place so very well thought out.
It is close to the main archaeological sites - indeed within walking distance - so it is very well positioned. The restaurants are good (if on the pricey side). Very much recommended. It is quality."

"A very nice hotel with character.
Very friendly and welcoming staff throughout the stay.
The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable.
Very large of catering options with buffets every day.
The reason we gave 4 stars rather than 5, was related to the cleanliness of the pool. Some areas inside the pool need special hygiene attention."

"The room was clean, modern and well equipped. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good and there was nearby parking available. Its also an easy walk to the historic centre."
