"Traveled with children. Plenty of pools to choose from. It was great that there were pools close to the beach. Beach was clean. Water park was great. Couple things to note - the hotel put us in a room that was very close the Riu adult pool party which occurs almost daily & plays music very loud lasting into the night - not good if you have younger kids. "For all inclusive the choices of restaurants are very limited and it’s first come . The food was the same as the buffet food nothing special. Also the night entertainment was focused for kids- shows started at 8 pm. I’ve stayed at a lot of places and this was not one of my favorites."

"Room was nice, amenities were great. Food would probably be my only let down. I get having to mass produce for that amount of people is no easy task but it felt little watered down and more catered to outsiders. Outside of that though we did enjoy our stay. Proper rating would be 3.5/5. "

My only complaint was that the couch and chairs were very old, worn and dirty. I did not want to sit down on them. I’m glad I did not have to use the couch as an extra bed because that would have been a problem."

"To start the toilet didn’t have a toilet seat. Staff was rude when renting out the towels. We had towels on our chairs and they got picked up by staff assuming we were using them anymore. We went to get new ones and were told we could not get new ones until we returned the 4 we had earlier. After we explained to the lady what happened she said well next time leave something there so we know your still using the towels. "We had an excellent stay in our Reserve swim-up rooms! Special shoutout to Pedro, who came around to our swim-ups to take food and drink orders. It was such a nice touch and he really make our trip special. We also really loved the option to reserve cabanas for free. All of our meals were great, with the exception of the Italian restaurant (pizza wasn’t great and they’d benefit from a wood-fired oven). "The photos of this property on Expedia are VERY deceptive. Based on those, we booked a room for nearly $500/night, expecting to stay in the buildings with 5 pools as advertised. Instead we were dumped in side buildings with access to much smaller pools. Our room overlooked a parking lot and hostel. The front desk staff- including the “supervisor”- were completely unhelpful and unapologetic. We asked for a refund which they would not grant, sent us back to Expedia. "The food on this property is absolutely amazing!! The rooms are also clean and the service is top-notch. However, the one large downside is how much this hotel is constantly trying to sell you and the constant sales pitches. After our flight that was delayed 3 hours, the hotel staff wasted another hour trying to persuade us to joining a time-share meeting for the property. Highly recommend this hotel staff take it down a notch as it really turns customers off. "
