"A lovely historic hotel in an excellent location. We were given the ‘Charles I bedroom’, with a lovely four poster bed. Apparently he stopped at the Red Lion for a drink during the Civil War. Live music in the beer garden at the front on Friday evening. Good food and pleasant staff."

"We recently stayed in a room for four adults on the third floor and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The room was spotless, spacious, and the beds and pillows were super comfortable—everyone slept really well.

"This is an historic bed and breakfast in a little village not far from Heathrow. The host was very friendly and responsive to our questions. Breakfast was very good and we also enjoyed a good meal at the The Five Bells pub. Fascinating history of the little town of Harmondsworth, a town that unfortunately may be demolished if the Heathrow expansion is approved."
