"Everything was great "

"This is our regular hotel when we go to San Clemente (about 5-6 times/year). Everything was top shelf in terms of cleanliness, staff friendliness, etc. The only disappointing things were I could not make tea in my room and my room was in the corner where the ocean view I paid for was somewhat obstructed."

"My family and I stayed at the hotel from a Friday through Tuesday this past weekend and our expectations were not met by any means. The parking spaces are very tight and not easy to maneuver around in a big SUV full of family members. There are also not many parking spots available. The elevator was misnumbered and actually had blue painters tape written on the inside of the elevator with the numbers on them. It didn’t matter if you press the up or the down button, it went both directions whether you wanted it to or not, so you never knew what floor you were going to get off on. The telephone in the room was broken as well as the coffee maker. Only one of the two televisions worked. The patio door was hard to maneuver and was off track so it was difficult to close and lock. The pillows were so uncomfortable we actually went to Walmart to purchase pillows just for the weekend. The breakfast was mediocre at best and just full of carbohydrates. We only ate there one morning and went out to eat the rest of the mornings. While the staff was kind and considerate, they were unable to assist in all of our families needs. On Monday, we were completely out of hot water for the day. That was extremely unfortunate as that was my daughter’s wedding day. Yes, she got married on a Monday because it was much cheaper at the golf course to get married on a weekday versus the weekend. In my daughter‘s room, she actually didn’t even have a working outlet. All in all it was just a joke of a stay."

"San Clemente Inn has great amenities including a pool, pickelball/tennis courts, mini golf, grilling area, etc! You could spend all day just enjoying the hotel. It could be a bit cleaner. We were slightly disappointed they didn’t clean our room once during our whole stay. Overall it’s in a great location and we would stay there again!"

"Cute surfing-style and clean room, helpful and efficient staff, parking in front of the room. AC and wi-fi. Restaurants within walking distance. Kitchen available for making coffee and basic cooking."

"Overall the hotel is not bad, it is an old building , some things I saw wrong! A/c works but felt more like a swamp cooler, there is no breakfasts and only a vending machine and ice. Yes it is stated online , also the floor in the room is slanted at a degree, not level! Also you can’t take a bath if unwanted to cause a warning sign says not to or flood will occur and u will be fined 250$. The room is basic and little offered … but it is quit and clean and offers covered parking "
