"After many years of attending this well appointed hotel finally i got an upgrade. The hotel is well situated for walks along Shakespeare's smug Trent. The Burton Bridge Brewery is over the road. Town centre a short walk. Parking more than adequate. I think if you can put up with the road noise of a weekend its one of the best hotels in town. Parking my confuse some as the hotel is on an island. Check during winter for flooding which can close the old bridge. Popular during the towns annual...

Plenty of parking outside and it is located close to shops and places to eat. Great communication from the owner. Would definitely recommend and stay there again when we are up North!"

"Our superior room came with a very useful kitchenettte including microwave, fridge and sink with a useful selection of cutlery and crockery.The showeroom was large and clean.The automated sensor light at the kitchenette was annoying .When getting out of bed to go to the bathroom in the middle of night the kitchen bright light automatically switched on . I had to use post it notes to cover over the sensor to stop this."
