"Lovely place to stay near Park Guel. It retains it's old fashioned feel but with some extra touches. Buffet breakfast is available 24/7 if one is a little peckish. There is a nice veranda at the front to sit ot and read or relax. The only minor issue is that since it's a period property the doors to rooms aren't airtight so you can hear if other people come in late at night but no one came in too late or was to noisy and it's on a hill so every walk back burns off a few extra calories. "There's nothing bad we can say about this hotel at all. We don't like to stay too much at the touristy areas so this fits us very well. The subway is close, the restaurant nearby (Vasi) is very tasty and the location of the hotel is convenient with a supermarket right in front of it. You can exercise by walking to Park Guell as well as it's just twenty minutes away. The room is cozy and very clean and it's big. Considering all of this it's good value for the price.
