"Room was very nice, ideal size for a couple. We could have done with a bit more storage space in the bathroom. We didn't have too many interactions with the staff, but when we did they were very friendly and helpful. Christmas Day brunch in the Il Teatro restaurant was very nice."

"The staff were excellent. I had forgotten my wife’s birthday card in my room and only realized it once we were at La Tanière. Thanks to the can-do attitudes of Laurie and Rosemarie, Laurie went to my room to get the card and Rosemarie dropped the card off at the restaurant on her way home after her shift. "The apartment is fabulous, so clean and neat. We were wowed by how beautiful it is - modern yet classic. But the area surrounding has multiple homeless shelters and it felt unsafe certain times. We were yelled by a street musician/homeless person to fxcking go back to China on the street of the loft. I live in Toronto so not a stranger to homelessness and don’t live in a bubble - but the degree of problem here is still quite the shock. If you identify as visible minority please consider other areas to stay."
