"This is a great place for a weekend get away. Everything in the town closes at 5 so be mindful of that when visiting the town. Food is very good and highly suggest trying the Japanese style breakfast at least once. It was a very neat experience. Traditional breakfast was very basic. "
"The futon’s aren’t very thick so it can be a bit uncomfortable if you’re a side sleeper. Other than that our stay was great. The owner, Yudai, is incredible and has an excellent sense of hospitality. When I come to Hakone again this place will be at the top of my list. "

"Nice traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast. Room with traditional Japanese tatami for sleeping. Staff are very nice welcoming and friendly. They even offer us a ride when we checkout. We travel with 2 children and they been very accommodating to our needs. Facilities provided 24hrs access to men and women public hot spring bath tub. There are also a private bath hot spring tub just for individual family to use. Overall been very happy with our stay on this roykan."
