"Beautiful rustic hotel with amazing view of the Loire River. I truly felt like I was back in time. I was a bit surprised by the self check in, but figured it out. The hotel restaurant was nice, and many restaurants are a quarter mile walk into town. Excellent breakfast. "

"Loved our stay at le relais. The receptionist was immediately very kind and helpful. We had a safe place for our bikes, the room was beautiful with a lovely view of the village below, and the breakfast was a real treat! Everything felt very close in the village, and we ended up eating at a restaurant opposite, perfect to roll into bed afterwards. "

"Such a unique place. Super nice staff. Just a wonderful experience. There is no elevator, so pack light, but the stairway is worth the climb. You’ll know what I mean once you’ve seen it. ;-) Highly recommended!"

"At first I was put off by a self-check in system that takes your ID to verify, but after looking at other reviews my mind was put at ease. PROS: Location, decor, quiet, free breakfast (we noticed pastries and bread were available throughout the day as well), easy check in (there is a clearly marked sign out front that we missed, but that was user error.
