We spent one night at La Ferme de Marpalu and absolutely loved it! The location is perfect—close to beautiful castles, with plenty of options to hike, explore, and enjoy nature. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful. Ingrid and Jean-Paul are wonderfully warm and welcoming. Despite the snow and cold, Jean-Paul came out to greet us personally and gave detailed instructions so we could fully enjoy our stay. Their kindness truly made us feel at home. The bed is very comfortable, and the room is cozy, stylish, and modern, with a lovely roof window that lets in natural light. Breakfast was a real treat: delicious cheeses, fresh nuts, eggs, hot drinks, chocolate, juice, unique croissants, and jam made from local fruits—everything was fresh, flavorful, and memorable. We’ll definitely return and can’t recommend this place highly enough!

We absolutely loved our overnight stay at La Ferme de Marpalu. It was just perfect. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. The room was beautiful with everything we needed. Breakfast was a treat with the best croissants we had in our whole two weeks in France. A perfect end to our stay. We would recommend to anyone.

Auf der Durchreise eine gute Unterkunft gesucht

Eigentlich nur schnell eine gute Unterkunft auf der Durchreise gesucht....und gefunden! Herzlicher Empfang, grosses, sauberes, gemütliches Zimmer, mit riesiger Dusche und kuscheligen Betten. Und das alles mitten in einer herrlichen Landschaft. Eigentlich schade, dass wir nur eine kurze Nacht bleiben konnten. Die Gastgeberin Ingrid war zuvorkommend und charmant.und erwartete uns vor der Abreise mit einem köstliches Frühstück, mit lokalen Leckereien. Sollte man mal wieder in aller Ruhe geniessen!
