"This place is nothing like pictured unfortunately we booked 5 nights and we so much regretted it first it's 25 minutes from the center of bacalar the roads are terrible especially when it rains, the room are very basic, beds and a shower that's all , rooms are not clean, or cleaned properly and have a wet smell to them ,bed sheets and towels have stains, very uncomfortable beds , the swimming pool looks like a square hole with just water in it,lots of mosquitoes, we were never offered any amenities except for a Christmas eve dinner and it was very thoughtful but very awful , DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE"

"We had an amazing experience and the property manager is hands down the best. The location is off the beaten path, but we loved it! The private lagoon is a short walk down the hill and so amazing. Such a peaceful and beautiful area, definitely a must go if you’re wanting some time away from the city. "
