Plaza de Armas is short distance walk (7 mins walk). Going down to plaza de armas is easy but going back to the hotel is a struggle because of the uphill hike and dealing with Altitude. I suggest to take the uber going back to the hotel, it only cost me around $4-4.40 US (15.50 soles). For me, the hotel is worth it, hot water is...

"Amazing stay! Cannot rate this hotel highly enough. We stayed in the deluxe suite and it was exactly, if not better, than advertised. You can see into the mountains from a king bed through 2 huge windows. The staff is so kind and helpful. The free breakfast was a wide spread of food and was delicious and there was free coco tea all day to help with the altitude. 10/10 recommended for Cusco"
