"March 2024 - Very nice place to lodge away from it all. Pleasant warm rooms and amenities including hot tub and sauna. Be prepared for the wind. Breakfast was great. We appreciated the wake up call for the auroras, but unfortunately it was too cloudy to see very much of it. We enjoyed our two night stay very well. "

"We booked the accomodation via expedia though it was closed and not prepared for guests when we arrived on site. The host was not on site but managed a friend to prepare everything for us and hand us over the key - so we had the entire appartment for our own and a very firendly and helpful neighbour. Great service!"

"Very clean, comfortable hotel that is centrally located to southern Iceland sites. Hotel is off the beaten path, but is very quiet with beautiful scenery and excellent viewing location for the northern lights and star gazing (very little light pollution). Food is very good. "This was a wonderful place to stay! The owner was exceptional in taking care of our needs! It felt like we were staying with family—it was quiet—the bed could have been a little more comfortable—and it would be nice to have a place for suitcases—I would come back and highly recommend it!"

"The guesthouse has a big kitchen and many toilets. The rooms are extremely small and you have to play a little bit of Tetris to get your stuff arranged., but we knew that. Sadly the mattress was a bit thin and not that comfy. The host was very friendly. Wouldn't recommend staying for more than one night tough."
