"Casa Balthazar was fantastic. We stayed in 6 apartments or hotels over a 2 1/2 week vacation and Casa Balthazar was the best. We tend to book higher end stays. Once you find this boutique hotel, you will walk into a lovely isolated place. The staff were so friendly and the rooms were great. Breakfast was so good - don’t skip the Pastel De Nata!! The hotel is an easy walk to the sites, restaurants and shopping. We would stay again when we come back!"

"We loved staying here. The staff was great, rooms were spacious, and the location was perfect. My ONLY complaint was that a fragrance was used and it gave me a sore throat and headache. I am highly sensitive to smells. I’m sure that most people enjoy the fragrance."
