Hoi An Historic Hotel

"The property is very big and spacious with several buildings and open grounds and gardens, a large pool and its own spa. The breakfast buffet was great with so many local and continental options to choose from. The room was clean and had all the amenities but everything is just a little run down. The property could definitely use a renovation to be up to the 4-star standards it claims to offer. We had a few other issues: the curtains did not close completely nor was their material blackout, so light did pour into the room at sunrise. Also the street is very noisy in the mornings since there is a school nearby and we woke up every morning to the sound of screaming children. Likewise, the corridors within the hotel echo loudly so we could hear everyone passing by outside our room. Some sound-proofing is definitely needed for the rooms. Despite these drawbacks the hotel’s location is great. It’s on a less busy street just outside of the Old Town (a much calmer area than near the river!!). Accessible to cars (since some streets are pedestrian only which is very inconvenient with luggage). Right next to the Hoi An museum. Walking distance to Old Town and the sites to be seen there. Nearby custom-making tailors and leather-workers. Overall, the property is nice but with a little renovation it has the potential to be absolutely wonderful."

"It was amazing!!! We hated to leave. Very beautiful setting and such kind staff. Brian checked is in and we felt like we were the only guests there, VIP care. I highly recommend. It's just a few minutes drive from the main shopping in Han Oi"

"Absolutely lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were all welcoming and super helpful. The room was spotless, bed was comfy and they provide free drinking water too. The location was great, half way between the old town and the beaches. They provide free bikes so you can go either way with these. There's also a free shuttle service which was great too! Highly recommend!"

"This hotel is tucked away from the main street, making it an oasis of peace and quiet. I stayed for 12 nights and it was so nice to be in a place close enough to cycle to the beach or take a grab to downtown Hoi An. I loved relaxing and reading by the pool and garden, The staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to help you with organising transportation, massages, anything really. I would stay here again, 10 stars"
