"The staff were excellent and the hotel itself was fine. The issue was one of isolation. If you aren’t travelling by car then options are significantly limited. Taxis are almost impossible to get (they have to travel from Pisa), the buses were intermittent and weren’t running at the weekend. "Hôtel impeccable sauf oreillers trop plats et pas de pommeau de douche"

"It’s unique and nice."

"Excellent location. Just outside the wall with an easy walk into the center of Lucca. Rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was a nice addition. Very friendly staff."

"Excelente"

"Awesome hotel, convenient walking distance. Enjoyed it very much."

"Superb location. Warm and well decorated. Friendly staff"
