Off the beaten path gem

It was a one night stay yet quite memorable. We loved every bit of it, the extreme attention to detail and the warm welcome in this very beautiful bed and breakfast. The lady of the house, Biche, was not only refined and elegant but also kind and helpful. She guided us to find a perfect place for dinner. Needless to say that her house is the reflection of her and her management and a true pleasure to stay at.

Beautiful villa with very nice outdoor space and excellent breakfast in a quiet village. Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice relaxing place and have a car ( 20 minutes driving to Pisa and sand beaches).

Gem away from it all

Owners put a lot of pride and effort into this unique B&B creating a beautiful enclosed space. The customer service is excellent, actually exceptional. It helps if you like incense as the secondary business pervades the accommodation and you will need a car as it is in small village between Pisa and Pontedera. But the garden where breakfast is served and the building are beautiful. Recommended

Pro.... Gorgeous setting in the middle of a sleepy village. Lovely selection of sweet breakfast (pastries, toast and jam etc.) Salty breakfast also available if chosen (egg and meats) Small pool in the garden (pond size) but perfect for relaxing around and dipping your feet in after a long day of sightseeing. Con....This property is a 20 mile drive from the airport and train station (50 Euros each way) and once at the property, you require a car to go to the shops or restaurants. There is no tea or coffee making facilty in the rooms.

La Grande Bellazza

We booked this hotel as it was relatively close to the airport for the final night of our 10 day Tuscan trip. It surpassed all our expectations and we wished we could’ve stayed longer. It was like something from a Paolo Sorrentino movie, with the quaint town, the quiet pool area and the ambience. It smelled lovely too. I’d imagine the church bells would get tiresome on longer stays (especially as they went off 3 mins early). The reception lady was very attentive and offered us an early breakfast as we were checking out early. We’re so glad she did as the breakfast was spectacular. She also gave us a list of restaurant recommendations nearby. We chose Sale Nero which was fantastic, but I would recommend booking as it got busy after 8pm. We WILL stay again.

Great stay ,loved this place ,so quite ,lovely grounds ,room, staff are amazing ,really good breakfast,only 20 min walk from a train station so its a very easy walk ,can be in Pisa centre around 12 mins for 2.70 euro,I was here for a wedding near by but I would choose to stay here again if Visting Pisa,Florence,so easy to get to and so much nicer then staying in the city

Peace and tranquillity

This lovely place is created with a lot attention to detail and the love and passion of the owner is visible in many aspects of the house, rooms and the garden. The picturesque garden invites for a glass of wine in the evening or relaxing in the pool. Just make sure to bring some mosquito spray as they are omnipresent in this region of italy. The breakfast was impressive and offered a great variety and was served on the terrace which always was a great start of the day. Train stations are close by and invite to day trips to florence or pisa and if you’re with the car tuscany is very close. We definitely hope to stay here again.

Fantastisk hjemlig hygge

Helt fantastisk bed and breakfast. Ligger lidt langt ude på landet, så man skal have bil med. Poolen er meget lille, nok 4x4 m Men overordnet et helt vidunderligt sted. Morgenmaden var uovertruffen og personalet meget venlige og hjælpsomme.
