We booked a more expensive king bed room, was told on arrival we had the best room however when we got there the room was far from an upgraded room and looked more tired than their standard room and wasn’t a king bed in it, the staff very kindly moved us to another room which was far better however it was so hot and even with the fan supplied on all night and window opened, it was uncomfortably hot. Great hotel, but I would choose the basic room in future as the upgraded...

"The breakfast was outstanding have not had so many options and great food quality before in a 5 star. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable, it was lovely meeting them all. I loved the ambiance of the ship and would certainly stay in Leith again because the people there are very welcoming. We even saw the Fingal's manager talking to a few people at breakfast during our stay, he obviously cares about the hotel very much."
