"This looked like a wonderful place, but we never found out because we couldn't get in. The code they sent us didn't work, and all attempts to contact them failed. This was late at night in the pouring rain...we eventually found another hotel and spent over $100 USD more for it...all because the code didn't work and we couldn't get in.
I contacted hotels.com and asked for a refund, but they wouldn't give it to me because the property owner wouldn't agree to it. Obviously, there's a risk with...
