Stay at tha Alven Hotel was ok in General. Front desk staff did not speak English so I used a translator app. Hotel was divided in two (old vs new) areas. I was placed in the old side myself and room had a antique vibe. Room was comfortable but a 32 inch tv too small for the size of the room. The wifi was slow & often disconnected from my tablet. The restaurant & staff were pleasant. Pool area nice. The hotel surroundings needs mayor fixings. Anything from abandoned buildings & places with graffiti.

High price, low service

Horrible. The room was supposed to be one twin or queen bed, they gave me two single beds. The room door in both rooms we used had issues to be opened - had to call the staff to learn how to open it and it was very annoying. The room was very clean but it was so old. A tiny TV with a horrible image in a low level, hard to watch from bed. There was a window air conditioner very noise. The whole place was noisy. Upstairs rooms were something like dragging heavy furniture or rocks, there was people on the hallways speaking out loud at night and workers on the daytime. It is very well located and the breakfast was fair, but far from a good one considering the price for the night. The staff is weird. One night the guy on the front desk vanished and in the garage same thing. You need to look for them by yourself. Long history short, not worth the money.

O hotel é até bacana. Mas foi muito chato alguns problemas que encontrei em meu quarto e que pedi solução e infelizmente não me deram atenção. Dentro do quarto, o ar condicionado pingava a noite toda, sem parar e atrapalhava bastante o sono. A porta do banheiro fazia um barulho muito chato ao abrir e fechar. Parecia estar prendendo no chão. Infelizmente, me pareceu que o hotel está carente de manutenção periódica.

Ficamos hospedados por dois dias. O hotel precisa de reformas, tem infiltração no quarto. Piscina precisa ser limpa com mais frequência. Elevadores são bons. Café da manhã razoável. Estacionamento bom e barato. No primeiro dia, tivemos que trocar de quarto, pois não funcionava nem a TV e nem o secador de cabelo. Rapidamente fomos atendidos, porém o outro quarto a janela da varanda não tinha travas, para nós não teve problema, mas creio que para crianças menores, seria perigoso. No geral, voltaremos a nos hospedar. Funcionários muito atenciosos.

Fomos bem recebidos pela equipe, mas no momento do check-in havia apenas um recepcionista, o que gerou uma fila e tornou o processo demorado. Não recomendo os quartos standard: são antigos, com frigobar ultrapassado, e a ala é a mais velha do hotel. Além disso, a porta do nosso banheiro não fechava. melhorou muito !!!

Já é o segundo ano seguido que vou a joinville e fico no mesmo hotel !!! A diferença para o ano passado foi que o aurto estava toralmente reformado e bem melhor que ano passado, porém hote não vende só acomodação, vende também uma experiência, e neste sentido deixou a deseja a desejar, pois o ar condicionado muito barulhento, o frigobar não gelava as bebidas e a tv a cabo não funcionava !!!!
