"Good hotel would stay again"

"Beautiful old main building and well constructed new wing that blended seamlessly with the old main Hall. However, due to the layout and lack of lifts it meant a really long walk from our room to the main reception area. The Hotel seemed to have a lack of staff - the very nice mature lady at reception, was multitasking and ended up carrying our bags up to the room. This staff shortage manifested itself later when we went to have dinner - to be told that the gas was off in the kitchen and...

"Lovely room and facilities but why charge for car park if you’re staying, appreciate it’s near the airport but there must be a way of controlling access without penalising guests who have already paid to stay."

"Friendly welcome at reception, room had recently been refurbished to a high standard. Beds were very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Hotel is clean and modern with a great fitness centre. The pool was decent and there’s also a good sauna Breakfast was a very good buffet and we sat out on the sunny terrace to eat. A great stay while my son was training at the football centre, would definitely stay again."

"The hotel in general was very good. Just personally, we had a few issues Our main issue is that the hotel. It's so big with long hallways and lots of steps, considering we have a child in a Pram and lots of luggage it was so exhausting to carry everything from the car park to walk across to the hotel. "Our room was not as big as expected from the photos and we were overlooking a flat roof with extractor fans continuously on - not so great when we had to have the windows open in the heat and could not get the ac to work. "New construction wall to wall carpet in halls and rooms. Business hotel on edge of Nuneaton and next to Bermuda industrial estate. Good service and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. One elevator for the 4 story building. No air conditioning so we were given a portable fan which was adequate for early May weather. Window only opens 4 inches for fresh air! Comfortable beds and mainly quiet except for distant tire noise from highway a few hundred yards away ."

"Check in was no frills. We arrived half an hour before check in and was offered a room but for an extra fee. I accidentally booked the room for one person so had to pay an extra £12 for breakfast which was fair enough but on check out an additional £10 for the extra person which I thought was unfair."
