"Stayed June 20 & 21, 2026. The directions were great, the staff very helpful and accommodating. The 2 nights were very hot & humid! Didn't know how to open the windows, thought they needed keys, but they didn't. We're from Canada so the windows are different. Luckily we had a fan in the room to help us sleep the 1st night. With the windows open the 2nd night, we still needed the fan for comfort. Apparently the UK was having a heat wave! Sam, the owner/manager (?) was very responsive and helpful. He comped us breakfast for our discomfort. How generous & it was much appreciated! I wasn't keen on sharing a bathroom with another room but we had no choice, the BnB we had booked, cancelled on us only 5 weeks prior to arriving and we had to scramble to find alternative accommodations. This Guest House had only this room without a private bathroom available. First time using Expedia to book accommodations. All in all, thank you to the staff & to Sam, for a good stay."

"Family room was spacious and well-placed on the ground floor. The staff were brilliant, but there nowhere near enough of them; both at breakfast and dinner there were far too many lengthy delays waiting for breakfast buffet to be restocked, tables to be cleared, orders to be taken, etc."

"This hotel was roomy, with a kitchen. I loved having a fridge so that I could have cold drinks. They seem to be hard to get in the UK. The location was perfect. Five minutes from the train/ bus station. Easy walk to the market and downtown area. Huge mall! I would recommend this place for anyone going to Harry Potter Sudios."

"This is a self check-in and checkout hotel. You don’t really see anyone just turn up, type in the codes you get on the day via WhatsApp and off you go! Bed was good. Room was good and clean. Was exactly as advertised."

"clean room & hotel, great staff, great breakfast. the only thing was that we were staying when it was 35 degrees. the air con worked but it started leaking whilst we were out in london and when we came back the floor was soaked. there was no other rooms available for us to be put in so we put some towels down and a bucket to catch the drip"
