"My stay was extremely disappointing - the property is tired and poorly managed.
From check-in, the issues started. All the bathroom bulbs in my room were dead and the heating system was not working. I reported it and they sent a very nice maintenance guy who tried his best, but he was clearly helpless. He promised a room change but said management did not approve it. Since I had already paid in full for my entire stay in advance, I had no choice but to manage.
The lifts are another story -...

"Stunning building. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice touch having cans of still water in the fridge and a little bottle of fresh milk for the coffee and tea. Shower was easy to operate and towels were a generous size. Extractor fan turned on automatically once you are near the bathroom area.
Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Everything was so fresh and cooked to perfection. Scrambled eggs were delicious and fluffy. Coffee was from a machine that was self operated but it was a...

"Great staff, good location but can be noisy late into the night and early morning due to the surrounding venues, which affects your ability to sleep. Soundproofing could be better. When it’s full service can be slow, we waited 45mins for our breakfast order which was not a great experience, although the food itself was great."

"The hotel itself is great
The location is right in the heart of the city with a lot of bars/nightclubs outside. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and got no sleep until the clubs closed. We may as well have been in them the music and noise was soooo loud. They don’t close until after 5am !!!!
Some might like that but I now very sleep deprived - don’t book here if you need a nights sleep
If you can go without then it’s a great hotel"
