"Fantastic stay at the lotus beach hotel. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was delicious! Snorkeling right is the beach coast was a nice bonus. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants!! "

They stole $500 from my bag that never left the room - when I brought it up with management, they brushed it off. The majority of the staff were not very welcoming or helpful, with some limited exceptions. Food was average, rooms felt dirty and had a strong sewage smell that came and went."

"This resort fell why short of my expectations. The images was a false reflection of the accommodations and access to the pool was via the restaurant which I found to be inconvenient. It also lacked the basic amenities I am accustomed to in a resort. The staff was no super helpful when I asked for stuff for the room. "

"This is a glorified hotel - not a resort. It has rooms that are nice, big, modern, and clean. It has a relaxing small lounging pool facing the ocean and a small restaurant/bar. However it is not a “resort”. It is beside the malecon/ocean and there is a small beach near it but the water is too rough to swim. "Hidden gym. Very clean, well maintained hotel. Desk staff was helpful.and friendly. We had a room facing the back of the hotel so no problem with noise. Room had strong WiFi and air conditioning. The shower had cool water but no hot water. Bed mattess was firm but not uncomfortable. "
