"Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Wir haben immer draußen gesessen. Man sollte allerdings eine lange Hose tragen,da es sehr viele Mücken gibt. Wir hatten 6 Tage lang keine Fernsehverbindung und auch kein WiFi auf dem Zimmer was natürlich sehr ärgerlich war. Auch ein mehrmaliges Auffordern hat nichts gebracht. Am Ende des Urlaubes hat man sich mit einem Pikolo entschuldigt."

"A 5 star resort , great spa too. Indoor pools, hot tub and steam room were serien. Our massage therapist was knowledgeable and friendly as well.
The main outdoor pool is massive and water warm. The breakfast buffet is outstanding . The staff were always polite and spoke various languages fluently. Our room was very large with a terrific shower. I loved their optional pillow selection as well. The cleaning staff folded our clothes too daily. A nice touch. There are plenty of great restaurants...
"What an amazing property. This hotel was one of my favorites throughout our family trip of 10 days around Portugal and Madeira. We were given a suite with pool and ocean view. The rooms were spotless clean, comfortable beds with fluffy pillows. One of the best breakfast buffets we have experienced. The staff was very friendly and professional. Located near restaurants, natural pool, shopping mall. Highly recommend to stay at Porto Mare Bayport when visiting Funchal."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our 7night stay at The Residence (30/8/25-5/9/25) and would definitely recommend.
The apartment was modern, clean, very roomy, bedroom, 2 bathrooms, lounge area, dining area, a very well equipped kitchen and balcony.
Staff were welcoming and friendly.
The gardens and pool area were absolutely beautiful and well maintained.
The hotel complex is huge and has everything you could possibly want or need but it is very easy to get disorientated and lost!

"Das Hotel alles in allem Super. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und zu vorkommend. Das Essens-Buffet war abwechslungsreich und jedes mal aufs neue ein Genuss.
Das einzige was mich ein wenig enttäuscht hatte war, dass wir extra ein Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht hatten, aber jedoch von unserem Zimmer hauptsächlich auf eine große Baustelle und die Stadt gesehen hatten. Erst irgendwo hinter dem Gebäudejungle und auch nur wenn man auf den Balkon hinaus ging konnte man das Meer dann sehen."
"Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt auf Madeira. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, sodass man vieles bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Besonders angenehm war die Möglichkeit, den Spa-Bereich und die Pools im Nachbarhotel mitzunutzen. Dort konnten wir wunderbar entspannen und den Tag ausklingen lassen. Insgesamt ein tolles...
"Terrace Mar is a wonderful place in a great location. The bed was super comfortable, kitchen was functional and having a balcony was great. Breakfast buffet was superb. Staff were very friendly. The rooftop pool was great with awesome views of Funchal. It was one of our favourite places to stay. Highly recommended "

"Plus qu’un 4 étoiles. La vie est spectaculaire sur tout Funchal est la baie, la piscine extérieure et l’ensemble des équipement sont au top. La chambre deluxe est plus une suite car énorme et superbement équipée et champagne mignardises et bruschetta à l’arrivée en chambres des accès et rabais spécifiques pour la catégorie de la chambre. Le parking gratuit. Facile d’accès en voiture et à pied. Je recommande vivement "
