"Lovely quiet hotel in Machico, short walking distance to the sea front. I enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were very helpful with an issue I had with my passport and helping with my luggage while I went Scuba diving after check out."
"The staff were nice. The breakfast was included and had a variety of fresh food daily. Especially appreciated the drying line in the shower so bathing suits could be hung up to dry. The only downside was the parking situation: a very small underground garage that didn't say it was full (first come, first served), and street parking was next to impossible to find, unless you parked before 6 pm or after 9:30 pm, as many people come to see the sunset (which IS beautiful). No street or underground...
"Perfect airport hotel. 5 minutes from the airport and very clean hotel. Safe area. Nice staff. We left before breakfast started but the facility looked nice. If you need to be near the airport, this is a great choice "
"Vielen Dank für die super entgegenkommende Serviceleistung. Nachdem in der Nacht um 3:00 Uhr unser Abflug gecancelt wurde fanden wir dieses Hotel, um einen Tag länger auf den Abflug zu warten. Obwohl wir regulär erst um 14 Uhr hätten das Zimmer beziehen können wurde das erste freigewordene Zimmer am Morgen für uns hergerichtet und so konnten wir schon um 9:30 Uhr das Zimmer beziehen und wir uns vom Stress der Nacht ausgiebig erholen. Nochmals herzlichen Dank!!!"
"We have stayed at The Vine on numerous occasions now and we love it. The rooftop pool area is lovely and the food is really good. All the staff are friendly and really helpful and smiley.
We had a junior suite this time which was spacious and the bed was super comfortable with beautiful linen.
Great breakfast choice as well.
One suggestion would be to get rid of the pebble flooring in the bathroom area, it is really uncomfortable to walk on."
"Parfait endroit pour un séjour paisible à Sao Vicente. L'ambiance calme qui y règne nous donnait envie de chuchoter. La vue de notre chambre était magnifique, surtout au lever du soleil où pouvait admirer le "montain glow". Le déjeuners inclut était composé d'ingrédients frais et variés, comme les fruits du jardins et le yogourt maison. Nous y avons passé deux nuits et on aurait voulu rester plus longtemps! "
"Et meget flot og stilfuldt hotel. Indretningen var afdæmpet og stilfuldt. Man følte sig hjemme. Der var rent og gjort meget godt rent i mellem dagene.
Der var overforventninger ifht hjælp uden at de var påtrængende. Liggestole 10stjerner. Den eneste min var i følge min kæreste at poolen var lidt for lille. "

"Beautiful view from our hotel room. Excellent customer service. Easy access to the tidal pools. Very walkable. Parking is a bit confusing because it is just down the street. They have construction in front of the hotel but that was fine. Delicious breakfast."
