"We loved our stay at the Barcelo. The room was very clean. The king sized bed was very comfortable as was the sofa bed which our daughter slept on. There was plenty of room in our room which was the standard basic room for 3 people. We loved the shower as well. "What an amazing property. This hotel was one of my favorites throughout our family trip of 10 days around Portugal and Madeira. We were given a suite with pool and ocean view. The rooms were spotless clean, comfortable beds with fluffy pillows. One of the best breakfast buffets we have experienced. The staff was very friendly and professional. Located near restaurants, natural pool, shopping mall. Highly recommend to stay at Porto Mare Bayport when visiting Funchal."

"The hotel was very pleasant and comfortable. Each evening there was a different themed dinner menu, which made every meal unique and enjoyable. Breakfast offered a good variety of options to choose from. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay!"
"Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt auf Madeira. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, sodass man vieles bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt.
