We loved this hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the waterfront and gothic quarter. The amenities were awesome. Loved the terrace and complimentary coffee.

At first sight, Casa Lirio was a tad sketchy, as the hotel was situated down an alley way off the Main Street, La Rambla. The check-in process was clear and precise, and once inside, the room was very clean and comfortable. It offered a coffee bar and had an outdoor terrace to enjoy your morning coffee. The owner was very accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage in the hotel on the day of check out. The hotel is situated in a convenient area, close to shopping, food and the water.

We had an amazing stay! The accommodation was beautiful, clean and very well maintained. The location was also very convenient, close to La Rambla and only about a 10-minute walk from Plaça de Catalunya. The room was very clean, nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. The room was also cleaned every day if we wanted it to be. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was definitely a plus. It was also very quiet, and everyone was respectful, so we were able to relax and sleep well. The check-in and check-out were both very smooth and easy. They sent us an email with clear instructions beforehand, which made everything very straightforward. But what really stood out was the staff! Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. They were genuinely so sweet and always gave us Biscoff cookies, which was such a lovely little touch. We felt very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay and would definitely stay here again!

I highly recommend staying at Casa Lirio! The management was great and when I planned to drop off my luggage, they let me get into the room a little early instead. The room was perfect and had a balcony to an outdoor table. There is a coffee maker and patio area available to still at for breakfast. The area was quiet and perfect for sleeping while being close to a coffee and pastry shop as well as a fruit shop. The gothic quarter is the perfect location as it is a 20-25 minute walk past shops and restaurants to get to the beach. I will stay here again when in Barcelona next!

I chose this hotel because of its location. It’s in a central location, easy to find a train or bus to major attractions or other cities. The hotel itself is well maintained and the daily cleaning service is a nice touch and necessary if you go to the beach. Raul and everyone else working during our stay were very helpful and professional. The elevator is very small the entrance is not wheelchair or stroller friendly. The area is NOT the safest. It's in an alley most taxis won’t gladly drive through there. I DON'T recommend you go out late at night, I overhead many arguments, fights during our stay from our window.

The location is excellent - right by Las Ramblas and easy to walk to restaurants, shopping and more. The directions we received for checking in worked exactly as they should, so that went smoothly. The day we checked out they let us leave our luggage there until we went to board our cruise ship, so we were able to spend more time discovering Barcelona. If we were to return to Barcelona, we would stay there again.

By far the best location to stay being in the heart of all the restaurants and walking distance from the train station! The place was interesting, probably overpriced for what you get, but not bad. We had a 4 person room but really 3 people have to sleep in one bed and the sofa bed is only big enough for one person. No space for our luggage. The shower is just a bathtub with no curtain so water goes everywhere. I wish there was more natural light, our curtains were broken and wouldn’t raise. The photos online are definitely nicer than reality. It would be a great place for one or two but definitely not 4.
