"A gorgeous mountain retreat! We stayed 9 nights and had dinner 8 of the nights. Clean hotel… incredible staff from the front desk to the dining crew. I will point out one person who stood out… Ervis! A great example of perfect hospitality. He is knowledgeable on wine of the region and just a genuine nice human. Dinner was right at Michelin * quality. The view of the mountain is spectacular. Our room was simple but comfortable. We hope to be back with family. "

"Es befand sich in unserer modernen Ferienwohnung ein Bad mit Dusche, Badewanne und 2 Toiletten, sowie ein Geschirrspüler und alles, was man sich in einer Ferienküche wünscht. Insgesamt positiv anzumerken war auch der Zimmerservice und die allgemeine Sauberkeit. Man konnte den Spa Bereich privat je eine Stunde für das Zimmer reservieren. Das Personal war allgemein sehr freundlich :-)"

"Just got back from a stay at Hotel Excelsior in the Dolomites and honestly, it was perfect. The sauna area was really nice and relaxing after a day out exploring. Food was excellent across the board, from the breakfast spread to the salad buffet at dinner. They’ve got a solid wine list, great coffee, and every meal came with a view that made you want to linger a little longer. The staff were super friendly and made everything feel easy and relaxed. Lucia gave us an amazing hike recommendation...

"Fantastic location, relaxing and friendly environment nestled in a beautiful forested location. Close to town of Armentarola (accessible by bus, shuttle or even walking) where the ski tow is located. The on-site restaurant is excellent and convenient. I had some of my best sleeps in years in the A-frames. Cant wait to return."

"Vedlig hyggelig hotell med et personale som står på nesten hele døgnet. Koselig sted, litt langt unna Cortina by om det er målet for oppholdet. Mange super fine bakker ca 10 min unna hotellet som kan ta deg helt til Cortina. Anbefales. "

I love having access to the bus to take me into town. Parking was easy. The spa was gorgeous. I think my only complaint that took away 0.25pts out of my perfect 10 would be the fact that children were allowed in the spa and instead of it being a restful time at felt like a playground. "The room key is very hard to open and close. We had to make a loud noise when open or close it and the other rooms can hear it clearly. They are unsatisfied though we don't know how to open without noise. Don't expect wifi at room. You have it very near the router at the first floor. Shower area is quite small. But room is clean. Parking is free in front of the hotel"

"Away from the centre of the village, surrounded by mountains, we had a lovely view from our balcony of a field with donkeys grazing and a small chapel at the far end of the valley. It is quite a hike from the hotel to the lake. If you’re a hiker, then this is the place for you. The dinner was expensive and mediocre. I do not recommend the half-board plan. Breakfast was okay, very limited choices. They benefit from the high tourist numbers obviously reflected in the limited value for money...
