"The room and property was overall great and so was the service. They cleaned every day and left beautiful arrangements with the towels. The adjoining restaurant was also excellent. However, I’m taking off two stars because the bathroom was not well maintained construction-wise. The floor was sinking so when you sat on the toilet, you were leaning into the shower. The sink was on a pedestal that came off the wall when I leaned on it to pick up something from the floor and the pipes made an awful...

"Hopplöst ”hotell” som mer är som ett dåligt vandrarhem. Slitet, konstgräsmatta på golvet utanför rummen med hål i typ, inga sänglampor etc. Väldigt dyrt för så låg standard. Man kan inte gå ner till ”centrum” för middag som det står i vissa recensioner, det är minst 1 km mycket brant backe. Fanns några OK krogar i närheten dock."

"My family's stay at Nafre House over the winter holiday was wonderful. The bed and breakfast is a perfect location for anyone visiting the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and the surrounding area, the rooms were spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the staff were unfailingly gracious and helpful, in both English and our attempts at Spanish. They even brought us a New Year's Eve gift. We would recommend Nafre House to anyone visiting this beautiful area. "
