"Loved this place but wish I had known it was 97 steps up a narrow staircase with no lift. Being on my own trying to get my suitcase up was a nightmare on an extremely hot day. "I love this hotel. I’ve stayed here before. I stayed in a spacious executive double room on the corner of the hotel with a view of the city. The staff were great, especially Aurora. The Continental’s sister hotel is the Grand Savoy next door. I enjoyed the best Negroni I ever had at the Savoy’s elegant bar. I also relaxed outside on the terrace connecting both properties. I can’t wait to return to Genoa and this wonderful hotel. "
