Very nice and very good location close to the train and bus stations. Cozy old stile hotel with a very good breakfast. A bonus was the restaurant which was part of the hotel. Valet parking is available at extra cost
Clean room, proactive service, friendly and professional staff! Enjoyed my stay, would definitely recommend + come back again. Great location if you want to get around the city easily.
Beautifully clean and well maintained. We had a beautiful spacious suite which was ideally for a family of four. Restaurant wasn't bad value for a hotel of this calibre. Very convenient for the main station.
A beautiful and grand hotel that blew us away! The service was was top shelf and the room was massive! We couldn’t fault it at all! The room had a small Juliette balcony that overlooked the historic centrale station and there were hot tubs on the 8th floor that offered amazing views if the city and port, Breakfast was also another highlight! Easily the best Italian hotel we have ever stayed at!
Stayed in a family room and hotel was great. Breakfast was good and loved the outdoor hot tub area on the roof. Would stay again if in the area in the future.
This review is for the Hotel Continental’s sister hotel, Hotel Grand Savoia, as we were upgraded to that hotel before arriving in Genoa. Check-in was seamless, the room was very well appointed with a super comfortable bed, and service was top notch. We almost missed checkout and our noon train departure time due to sleeping two hours later than planned due to the comfort and darkness (blackout shades) of the hotel room. This hotel, as well as the Continental, are steps away from the main train terminal in Genoa, and an easy walk to the terminal. We would definitely stay again if traveling through Genoa.
Beautiful hotel, super charming, in the most perfect location. It was impeccably clean, with lovely rooms and a wonderful roof bar. It was a wonderful stay and a great find and I would definitely return.
The hotel was very clean, the room had recently been redone, the air-conditioning was silent, and the room was very quiet. However, it’s a very sketchy neighborhood.
Decor in the bedroom was interesting and unique with mini hot air balloon theme and a little one in the ceiling. . Good breakfast. Spa facilities were good. Nice toiletries in the bathroom.
Enjoyable overnight transit stay. Opposite train station yet quiet and safe in a beautiful old building.
Lovely refurbished spacious clean room.
Great customer service.
Very good breakfast.
I would stay again.
The location was very convenient. Train station is across the street and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. This hotel is connected to the bigger main hotel which is nicer but quite a bit more expensive. That's where the restaurant and other facilities are located.
Close to the main station, the metro and other public transport, and walkable to the main tourism locations. Lovely well-conserved late 19th century building. I had a spacious high-ceilinged room in traditional style with a mosaic patterned floor. The hotel lift is a wonderful piece of century-old engineering, which works most of the time - and will probably be fine by the time you read this.
Beautiful boutique hotel... gorgeous old elevator, nice staff, INCREDIBLE SHOWER. Maybe the best I've ever been in.
Great restaurants nearby... my only warning is that walking to the port or the old city center you have to go through some real rough looking areas. First time I was ever scared in Italy. That was a bummer.
Good location since it’s just 2 minutes walk from the station, the building is an antique especially the lift with manual sliding doors 😀.Room is spacious and clean. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to town center and the museums. Enjoy the stay and properly will stay again next Genova trip.
Best breakfast buffet we've had in Europe. The whole facility was extremely clean and the spa was wonderful after a long day of sightseeing. Staff was very friendly and very accommodating to our requests, such as a late check out. It was a wonderful stay.
