"Great location, Very helpful staff The property is older and needs some love But over all perfect for a weekend get away. Be mindful of the noise levels. This property is in a very busy location and a bit noisy at night"

"Perfect location, which is 80% of it. Good beds, great service. Only issues is it is very crowded, but more importantly: - Gift shop for water or anything else is WAY overpriced and you can't charge to room. - No Marriott lounge. Again, you know what you are getting, just didn't think earplugs at the Gift shop ( crappy little ones ) would be $8.50 each; and small water bottle would be $6.00."

"Beautiful location and lobby, thst where it stops.. everything in our room was broken. No coffee, no water, no snacks, when asked what we could do for water when the front desk ran out the man at the front ended got visibly angry and said “ you’ll need to fend for yourself” and walked away. For the price tag, guest experience is shockingly poor. Doors, shower and AC were broken in our suite. We saved up an entire year for this, so disappointed."

"Terrible experience at Hyatt Grand Central. The room was extremely dusty and not properly cleaned. We found hair in the shower, sink, on the floor, and even on the bed sheets. I went to the front desk to report the issue, and I was told that someone would come to clean the room, but no one ever showed up and nothing was done. It was very disappointing, especially for a hotel of this caliber. The room, and particularly the bathroom, is in desperate need of renovation. Overall, the cleanliness and condition of the property were unacceptable. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again."

"Place is so cute, just as pictured. Smells wonderful! Staff is great, respectful, always greeting you, helpful. We would stay again. We did have trouble getting our room cleaned. We were there 7 nights. Only time it was cleaned was when we made a point to ask the front desk for it to be serviced. So twice and one day it was cleaned without us asking. That’s 3/7 nights. We made sure to take off the do not disturb and we’re gone most of the day and woukd come back to a room that was not cleaned- even gone 7am-4pm. Our last day we paid for late check out, informed we were leaving at 3pm. TWICE different cleaners knocked and woke us up during our power nap before our 10 hour travel day. That really sucked. Not much choice for goody food on rooftop but charcuterie was DELICIOUS. Unfortunately both nights we went up the two different waiters we got were Too Friendly and ended up talking forever to other tables. Service there was not great. The daily hotel fees are crazy but I’m going to assume that’s every hotel in nyc. Lastly we got a message from the hotel that early and late check in are $50 and $75 but then were told and charged $75 for both. That being said they had our room ready very early in the morning and 3pm check out is amazing."
