"I lived in Queens, most of my life and know the area to be quiet and respectable. Still, I was a little nervous about a motor lodge. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and efficient the hotel was. Ok it is not the Waldorf, but it felt comfortable. No surprise charges, and a nicely renovated room were greatly appreciated. "I frequently stay at this hotel when I travel to Long Island. The location is great. The hotel is great. I even noticed the drapes had been changed out for a lighter shade, which really helped the brighten the space that could be considered somewhat dark. The air is still not working great. And the mattresses need to be replaced."
"We really enjoyed our stay at the Vanderbilt. It is so clean and has great amenities-pool, pool tables/table tennis, restaurant in property. Shopping malls and great dining nearby. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were modern and the entire property was soooo clean!
