"We stayed here for 3 nights and it was very peaceful and quiet. There was loud bikes going by but mostly before 10 pm. Parking was easy. The guy here is wonderful and the cheerfulest and helpfulest guy ever. He made us feel very welcome. Conveniently 20 mins from KEF int. Airport and he was accomadating for our early morning flight in. We were able to check in at 10:30. 10/10 would recommend to a friend."

"The guesthouse is literally across the street from the hotel - so going there to check in is no issue. There is a flight of stairs to access the guesthouse. Since we arrived at 6am after our flight from the US - reception was kind enough to allow us to do a late check out. Breakfast was already being served at 6 am so that was also a great bonus. "

"Situated in a quiet neighborhood, this guesthouse has ample parking and a very nice cafe with a full lunch and dinner menu, bar and fresh made bakery items as well. The shower/sink /toilet areas were clean, bedding was very comfortable. The building, public lounges and rooms all felt safe. There are plenty of lockers to lock up extra belongings and a few outdoor spaces to enjoy some fresh air and conversation. "

"Location is excellent right in the middle of Reykjavik. Plenty to do and see in the area. Everything was as the host said and it was a wonderful stay for my husband and me. Other people there were very considerate and quiet. We shared the bathroom and the kitchen. There is no breakfast offered. There is no luggage storage offered, but there are very reliable walkers a four minute walk away. I will definitely stay there again if I have the opportunity. "Charming room in a charming house with clean sheets and simple living setup in a shared group house space. We were unsure of which room we were in since we made the reservation three months in advance, but found the original confirmation email which sorted it all out. "

However, when we arrived we need to make a local phone call for waiting the staff to open the hotel (even though there was another staff inside and it's freezing outside)...
