"The staff was nice. Friendly and helpful. I do wish they had some type of notice about the power outages that the area was experiencing. It was out of their control but it would have been good to know before it happened and I had no AC for a few hours. I will say that Miguel and the other lady at the front desk were beyond accommodating and tried to help in all possible way to make our stay better. "

"We had the best time!! The staff is outstanding! Everyone made us feel like they were happy we were there. Gerardo was the absolute BEST butler!! We were celebrating our son’s birthday and he helped make everything perfect. They even decorated his room with balloons, banners, chocolate strawberries, a slice of cake and a happy birthday sign. "The Kimpton Aluna was a great place to stay near the beaches and DT Tulum. Rooms are spotless and friendly for the price. The food here was delicious. They also have a social hour every day with free drinks and food. Helpful staff that will help you reserve excursions or restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place. FYI, the area around it is under construction, so it might feel a bit undone. I'm sure in a few years this area will transform. "

"My wife and I had a wonderful three night retreat here. We were looking for somewhere quiet, where we could sit by the ocean and read and chill. This was perfect.
