"Beautiful secluded property with amazing food and amenities. Most of the staff was extremely kind and attentive. I have two downsizes however that stopped me from giving 5 stars. The power went in and out and we had no A/C 2 out of 3 nights stay and even though it wasn't the resorts fault I think they could have offered something for inconvenience of having two nights of uncomfortable sleep (ie partial room refund, free menu item etc). Also some of the dinner staff just stays on their phones...

Although, the food was very good, the prices are outrageous. Everything is very overpriced. I paid $125 USD for a small piece of steak! And a $100 USD for one fish. "

"Right on the beach. Beautiful landscape and friendly staff. Only thing is no coffee in the rooms and restaurant did not open till 8, but usually could get coffee by 7am. A short bike ride to Tulum ruins. "

"We stayed one night at Maison Tulum after having stayed for 4 nights at Maison Bacalar, and both places were definitely our best stays during our time in Mexico. We ended up at Maison in Bacalar by coincidence as we took a look at the place without having a reservation, but we were warmly welcomed by the manager Flor who showed us around and made us feel at home immediately.
